*which 2 teachers?

 1. Ms. Erin Gruwell
 2. Sister Mary of Perpetual Help

*Good or bad (or both)?
1. Ms. Gruwell is a very good teacher
2. Sister Mary of Perpetual Help is a not effective teacher

*Characteristics of each one?
1. Ms. Gruwell is a positive attitude teacher. She believes in her students and their potential. She also is a critical thinker. She tried to find the way to understand and teach her students. She stands for her right belief even though she has to fight with the authority and negative attitude from another people. She even works more jobs to be able to buy books and dinner trips for her students. She loves her teaching and her students which these qualities are a very important for a good teacher.

2. Sister Marry of Perpetual Help is seemed not happy with her students nor teaching.  She is racism by divide students in color usage; the Fairies and the Brownies. She does not pay attention to student's problems; Lorde has a problem to read the number. She is not try to help Lorde when Lorde lost her glasses and cannot see the board.

*Behaviors? Ways of teaching?
1. Ms. Gruwell is ready to adapt and change to meet student need, refer to Hassett "What Make A Good Teacher?". She tried to find the book relate to her student's lives; it makes students interests to read the book.  She find the game for students to play in class and the game makes students connect each another situations. She is reflective teacher by observe her students and find the way to connect them to the class. She takes her students to museum to open mind them about their lives situation; they have learned so many another people have a harder lives than them. This experiences has changed her students attitudes and give their hope to have a better lives. 

2. Sister Marry of Perpetual Help is not ready to reflective nor adapt and change to meet student need. She is failing to observe in her student and her class, refer to Hassett "What Make A Good Teacher?".  She does not know what happen with Lorde's learning problem and blames Lorde as a bad behavior student. She does not trust the ability of her student as she judges Lorde does not do homework on her own. She is emotional abuse Lorde by letting another students offer up a special prayer for Lorde to stop being such a wicked-hearted child. These incidences have proved Sister Marry of Perpetual Help is not a good teacher.
